PM Modi Slams Opposition, Says — “NDA Means Development, RJD-Congress Means Destruction”

Saharsa (Bihar): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a massive rally in Saharsa on Monday, launched a scathing attack on the opposition, asserting that while the NDA stands for development, the RJD and Congress symbolize destruction. He urged the women and youth of Bihar to remain vigilant against the forces of jungle raj and assured a strong NDA government committed to progress and empowerment.
PM Modi said, “NDA means development, while RJD and Congress mean destruction. I appeal to the sisters and daughters of Bihar to stay alert — these jungle raj forces want to deprive you of your rights and the benefits of welfare schemes. Whether it’s RJD or Congress, they have nothing to do with development.”
Encouraging young voters, he added, “Voting will take place in Saharsa and Madhepura on November 6. Many young men and women will be casting their votes for the first time. When I voted for the first time, I only wished that my vote should not go to waste — it should help form a government. I was successful, and now I want your first vote to help build a government too. Your vote should strengthen the NDA government.”
Targeting the opposition’s track record, PM Modi said that during the Congress-RJD alliance, all major development projects in Bihar had stalled. “The foundation stone of the Kosi Rail Mahasetu Bridge was laid by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2003. But when the Congress government came to power in 2004 under Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi with RJD’s support, all development plans for Bihar were halted,” he said.
He further alleged, “The RJD leaders’ arrogance was at its peak. They were angry with the people of Bihar and started taking revenge from Delhi. They blocked funds meant for the welfare of Bihar and deliberately stopped key projects, pushing the state backward.”
Notably, voting for the Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11, while the results will be declared on November 14, 2025.
