Modi, Yogi, and Shah Take Charge to Ensure NDA’s Victory in Bihar; Kharge Rallies Full Force for Grand Alliance

Patna: The campaign for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections reached its peak on Monday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched sharp attacks on the opposition Grand Alliance, while Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge hit out at both Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi.
Addressing a massive rally in Saharsa, Prime Minister Modi labeled the RJD and Congress as the “symbols of destruction,” asserting that the NDA represents development, while RJD and Congress symbolize jungle raj. He urged the youth to cast their first votes for a “bright and prosperous Bihar,” emphasizing women’s empowerment, employment generation, and flood management initiatives. “This pace of progress must not stop,” he declared.
In Darbhanga, Yogi Adityanath targeted Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav, and Akhilesh Yadav, calling them the “three monkeys of the INDIA alliance,” saying, “They can neither see, hear, nor speak of the NDA’s achievements.” He promised that if the NDA returned to power, “infiltrators will be driven out,” and Bihar will be connected to Ayodhya through the “Ram-Janaki route.”
Meanwhile, Amit Shah, speaking in Sitamarhi, confidently predicted that “by 1 p.m. on November 14, RJD will be wiped out from Bihar.” Announcing ₹11,000 crore worth of projects for the Mithilanchal region, Shah said the NDA would establish “medical colleges, industrial parks, and a defense corridor in every district.”
On the other hand, Mallikarjun Kharge, addressing a rally in Vaishali, countered by accusing Nitish Kumar of “abandoning socialism for the greed of power.” He remarked, “Nitish is sitting in Modi’s lap, but Modi will never make him Chief Minister again.”
As the first phase of campaigning concludes, Bihar’s political landscape has once again crystallized into a clear contest — Development versus Destruction, Good Governance versus Jungle Raj.
