Hema Malini lashes out over false news of Dharmendra’s death, says — “Why are you spreading such rumours?”

New Delhi: Social media was abuzz on Monday with sudden rumours claiming that veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra had passed away. The fake news spread like wildfire within hours. However, soon after, the actor’s daughter and actress Esha Deol came forward to deny the reports, calling them completely false.
Now, Dharmendra’s wife and actress-MP Hema Malini has also expressed her strong displeasure over the matter. Taking to social media, she wrote:

“Please stop spreading false news. Dharam Ji is perfectly healthy and at home. Such rumours are not only distressing for our family but also deeply hurtful for his fans.”

Hema Malini further said that Dharmendra has millions of admirers who love him dearly, and spreading such false and irresponsible rumours is inhumane. She appealed to media outlets and social media users to verify the truth before sharing any information.
It is worth noting that Dharmendra remains one of the most beloved and iconic stars of Hindi cinema, having delivered countless blockbusters such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Seeta Aur Geeta, and Satyakam. Even at the age of 88, he remains active and recently shared a Diwali greeting video with his fans.
Following Hema Malini’s statement, Dharmendra’s well-wishers breathed a sigh of relief and flooded social media with messages wishing the legendary actor good health and a long life.
