Now Every Player Will Have Their Own ‘AI Coach’: Sourav Ganguly and Kabuni Launch AI Sports Tech Platform in India

Bhopal/New Delhi :  Technology is now revolutionizing the world of sports. The UK-based AI and sports tech company Kabuni has launched an innovative AI-powered sports technology platform in India that offers every player their own personal digital coach.
This platform records a player’s practice sessions, analyzes every movement in real time, and—using machine learning and biomechanics—instantly provides feedback on what’s right and what needs improvement, just like a real coach.
Kabuni’s mission is to make professional-level coaching accessible to every child and player, whether they are part of a sports academy or playing on a local ground.

 How the Kabuni Platform Works

Kabuni is an AI and language-based model that learns from the game itself. Using decades of cricket data, player movements, and coaching knowledge, the platform delivers personalized, data-driven coaching through an app or device.
It analyses every movement—be it a cover drive, bowling action, or fielding stance—and provides instant corrective feedback via video, text, image, or audio formats.

Sourav Ganguly Becomes Global Brand Ambassador

Former Indian cricket captain and Kabuni’s Global Brand Ambassador, Sourav Ganguly, said:

“Quality coaching helps children learn faster and stay fit. Earlier, this level of coaching was limited to professionals—but now, it will be available to everyone.”

 Co-founder’s Vision

Kabuni’s Co-founder and CFO Patrick Badenoch added, “Whether you’re playing on the streets, in a school ground, or at a professional pitch, Kabuni allows every player to record their game, receive personalized feedback, and enjoy tracking their own progress.”

The platform has been developed in collaboration with Cambridge Design Partnership, a global leader in human performance and sports innovation.
A New Digital Era for Indian Sports
Kabuni’s technology ensures that coaching is accurate, safe, and accessible for players at every level—from grassroots to elite.
Starting with cricket, Kabuni plans to expand into tennis, golf, badminton, table tennis, and several other sports in the coming years.

Sourav Ganguly said: “In India, cricket is not just a sport—it’s a religion. Kabuni is the world’s first digital ecosystem that connects real-world sports with technology, helping every player discover the athlete within.”

A New Direction for India’s Sporting Future

Kabuni’s Founder and CEO Nimesh Patel stated: “The future of Indian sports is bright. With the goals of the Fit India Movement, the 2030 Commonwealth Games, and the 2036 Olympics, we aim to inspire one billion Indians over the next decade to be more active, play more, and live healthier lives.”

Kabuni has also announced that it will invest 1% of its total India revenue in supporting grassroots sports development across the country.
With this launch, India enters a new era of AI-powered sports training, where every player—whether on the street or in a stadium—can have their very own personal AI coach.
