Administrative Officer of Netarhat School Arrested for Accepting a Bribe of 50,000 Rupees

Latehar : Roshan Kumar Bakshi, the administrative officer of Netarhat Residential School, was caught red-handed by the Palamu ACB team while accepting a bribe of 50,000 rupees. The accused was reportedly taking a bribe from a vendor supplying milk to the school in exchange for payment of bills. This was confirmed by Palamu ACB SP Anjani Anjan. According to the information, a whistleblower informed the Palamu ACB team that the administrative officer at Netarhat Residential School was demanding a bribe for the payment of the milk bills. After receiving the tip-off, the ACB team conducted an investigation under the direction of SP Anjani Anjan. Once it was confirmed that the bribe was being demanded through the accused, the ACB team planned to arrest him red-handed. On Thursday, the police sent the whistleblower with the bribe money to meet the administrative officer. The accused called the whistleblower to his house and began taking the bribe money. At that moment, the ACB team arrived and caught the accused red-handed while accepting the bribe.

 

Palamu ACB SP Anjani Anjan stated that the action was taken based on the complaint received regarding the administrative officer demanding a bribe.
