Piyush Ranjan Awarded Honorary Doctorate by Washington Digital University for Contributions to Social Service
New Delhi : Piyush Ranjan, known for his efforts in creating employment awareness among youth and equipping them with skills, has been conferred an honorary doctorate by Washington Digital University, United States of America. Recognizing his outstanding contributions in the field of social service, the university has honored him with this prestigious title.
The honorary doctorate was officially conferred during an International Conferment Award Ceremony held in New Delhi. In Piyush Ranjan’s absence, the citation and degree were received by his wife, Megha Jha.
For the past one and a half decades, Piyush Ranjan has been continuously working in the field of social service and has established a strong reputation at the national level. Through the Netaji Seva Sansthan, where he serves as General Secretary, he has made significant contributions—particularly in empowering and skilling youth. During the Mahakumbh, the organization also set up service camps on the banks of the Sangam to assist pilgrims.
Reacting to the honor, Netaji Seva Sansthan stated that it is a matter of immense pride that a young individual has received such a recognition for social service. This honor will inspire the organization to continue and expand its impactful work. The institution further informed that it is actively working across 10 states in India, with its primary mission being the training and employment of youth.
