Rahul Lacks Knowledge, Roams Around with the Constitution: Baby Rani Maurya

Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh): Presenting the report card of eight remarkable years of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, Cabinet Minister Baby Rani Maurya highlighted the achievements of the administration. Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s statement about the Constitution being in danger, she remarked that Rahul lacks knowledge. Attacking Akhilesh Yadav, she suggested that he should first review the crime records during his own government. She emphasized that both Uttar Pradesh and the nation are progressing towards development.

During her visit to Jhansi, Baby Rani Maurya stated that under the Yogi government, the state has made significant progress. Over the past five years and the current three years, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed comprehensive development. She listed major achievements, including flyovers, the Defense Corridor, Bundelkhand Expressway, job fairs, improved road and electricity infrastructure, rural electrification, ‘Har Ghar Jal – Har Ghar Nal’ initiative, irrigation support for Bundelkhand farmers, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, free ration, housing, pensions, financial aid for girls’ marriages, women’s safety measures, and stringent laws to curb crimes against women. The government, she asserted, has provided substantial benefits to every section of society, including farmers, the poor, and women.

Responding to a journalist’s question, Maurya criticized Rahul Gandhi, saying that he merely holds the Constitution in his hand and makes baseless statements. Regarding Akhilesh Yadav’s claims about rising crime in Uttar Pradesh, she advised the Samajwadi Party (SP) chief to first examine his own government’s record before commenting. She further stated that the double-engine government of Modi at the Centre and Yogi in the state has led to unprecedented development in Jhansi and Bundelkhand. The administration has implemented several welfare schemes for the poor and profitable initiatives for farmers, benefiting people across the board.

The event was attended by MLC Ramteerth Singhal, MLC Rama Niranjan, MLA Pandit Ravi Sharma, MLA Rajeev Singh, Metropolitan BJP President Hemant Parihar, Rural District President Pradeep Patel, and several other BJP leaders.
