Second Amrit Snan of the Maha Kumbh Tomorrow, Shri Panchayati Akhada Mahavirnani to Take the First Dip of Faith
Mahakumbh Nagar (UP): On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the first Amrit Snan of the Maha Kumbh has already been held, and now, the second Amrit Snan will take place on 29th January (Wednesday), coinciding with Mouni Amavasya. The Prayagraj Maha Kumbh Mela administration has released the bathing schedule for the akhadas for the second Amrit Snan. It is estimated that over 10 crore devotees will take a dip at the Sangam on this day.
Shri Mahant Narayan Giri Maharaj, Head of Shri Dudheswar Temple and International Spokesperson of Juna Akhada, informed on Tuesday that on Mouni Amavasya, Shri Panchayati Akhada Mahavirnani and Shri Shambhu Panchayati Atal Akhada will be the first to take a dip. Both akhadas will depart from their camps at 4:00 AM and reach the Sangam Ghat at 5:00 AM. After a 40-minute bath, they will depart from the ghat at 5:40 AM and return to their camps by 6:40 AM.
Next, Shri Taponidhi Panchayati Shri Niranjani Akhada and Shri Panchayati Akhada Anand will take the Amrit Snan. They will leave their camps at 4:50 AM and arrive at the ghat at 5:50 AM, with a 40-minute bathing time.
The three Sannyasi akhadas, namely Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhada, Shri Panch Dashnam Awahan Akhada, and Shri Panchagni Akhada, will depart their camps at 5:45 AM and reach the ghat by 6:45 AM, with 40 minutes allocated for the bath.
Among the three Bairagi akhadas, the Akhil Bharatiya Shri Panch Nirvani Ani Akhada will leave at 8:25 AM, reach the ghat at 9:25 AM, and after a 30-minute dip, depart from the ghat at 9:55 AM to return to their camp.
Akhil Bharatiya Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhada will leave their camp at 9:05 AM and reach the ghat at 10:05 AM. They will have 50 minutes for the bath.
Akhil Bharatiya Shri Panch Nirmohee Ani Akhada will leave their camp at 10:05 AM, reach the ghat at 11:05 AM, take a 30-minute dip, and leave the ghat at 11:35 AM to return to their camp by 12:35 PM.
Shri Panchayati Naya Udasin Akhada will depart their camp at 11:00 AM, reach the ghat by 12:00 PM, and after 55 minutes of bathing, depart at 12:55 PM to reach their camp by 1:55 PM.
Shri Panchayati Akhada Bada Udasin Nirvani will leave their camp at 12:05 PM and reach the ghat by 1:05 PM. After an hour-long bath, they will leave the ghat at 2:05 PM and return to their camp by 3:05 PM.
Finally, Shri Panchayati Nirmal Akhada will take the last dip. This akhada will leave their camp at 1:25 PM and reach the ghat by 2:25 PM. After a 40-minute bath, they will depart from the ghat at 3:05 PM and reach their camp by 4:05 PM.
