Stampede at Bandra Railway Station Injures 9 Passengers, Two in Critical Condition

Mumbai: A sudden stampede broke out due to heavy crowds at Bandra Terminus Railway Station on Sunday morning, resulting in injuries to nine passengers. All injured have been rushed to Bandra Bhabha Hospital, where two are reported to be in critical condition. Railway police are investigating the incident.

According to sources, a large number of passengers had gathered on Platform 1 at Bandra Railway Station to board the Bandra-Gorakhpur Express. Many were heading home for Diwali and Chhath Puja celebrations. Amid the massive crowd, passengers tried to board the train carriages, leading to the stampede. Injured passengers, including Sukhbir, Abdul Rahman, Parmeshwar Gupta, Ravindra Chauma, Ramsevak Prajapati, Sanjay Kangey, Divyanshi Yadav, Mohammad Sheikh, Indrajeet Sahni, and Noor Mohammad Sheikh, are receiving treatment at Bandra Bhabha Hospital.
