Suzuki Motorcycle India closes FY2024-25 with record-breaking sales of 12.56 Lakh units  

 

Gurugram : Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, concluded FY2024-25 with its highest-ever annual sales of 12,56,161 units. This reflects 11% growth over 11,33,902 units sold in FY2023-24. Continuing its strong performance in last month of FY2024-25, SMIPL registered an all-time high monthly sale of 1,25,930 units in March 2025, growing 21% over 1,03,669 units sold in March 2024. Of this, domestic sales hit a remarkable 1,05,736 units, reflecting 23% growth from 86,164 units in March last year. Exports for the month totalled 20,194 units, surpassing the 17,505 units exported in March 2024. Expressing his views on SMIPL’s sales performance, Mr. Mitsumoto Watabe – Operation Manager, Sales & After Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are sincerely grateful to our customers, dealer partners, and team members for helping us achieve our highest-ever annual sales of 12.56 lakh units in FY2024-25. Our sales have doubled in just 4 four years, reflecting the continued trust our customers have placed in us by choosing Suzuki products, opting for authorised service workshops, and using genuine parts. This growth was further driven by the launch of the new Suzuki Access, where our dealers and team focused on delivering a complete product experience through test rides. Additionally, initiatives like Suzuki Matsuri and regional events like mileage contests, helped us connect more closely with our customers. As we step into the new financial year, we are geared up for the launch of our first electric scooter – the Suzuki e-ACCESS. Backed by Suzuki e-Technology, the e-ACCESS will offer LFP-long battery life, durability, reliability, smooth acceleration and easy handling – all of which customers expect from a Suzuki. We look forward to continuing this journey with the same customer-first approach.”

 

In FY2024-25, SMIPL focused on innovation, customer experience, and expanding its product portfolio. The year saw the launch of key products including the all-new Access, and the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel motorcycle. The company also showcased its foray into electric mobility with the unveiling of its first electric scooter, e-ACCESS, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.To align with regulatory standards, SMIPL upgraded its entire domestic product line-up to comply with OBD-2B norms. Beyond products, the company actively connected with customers through engaging initiatives such as the Suzuki Matsuri Motorcycle Festival, the Access Mileage Contest and other regional events aimed at enriching ownership experiences.

 

 

 

The total sales for the FY 2024-25 include record domestic sales of 10,45,662 units, a 14% rise from 9,21,009 units sold in the last financial year. SMIPL exported 2,10,499 units during the same period compared to 2,12,893 units exported in FY2023-24.
