Valedictory Function Marks Successful Conclusion of 10-Day Combined Annual Training Camp by 2nd Arunachal Pradesh Battalion NCC
Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) : The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) conducted by the 2nd Arunachal Pradesh Battalion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) concluded on a high note with a grand valedictory function held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Tawang.
The occasion was graced by Brigadier Bhupal Singh, Commander of the Tawang Brigade, and Kanki Darang, Deputy Commissioner of Tawang, as chief guests. Colonel Abhijeet Bhambere, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Battalion, Arunachal Pradesh NCC, along with all ranks, warmly welcomed the dignitaries.
A total of 340 cadets from the districts of
East Kameng, West Kameng, and Tawang participated in the intensive 10-day camp, which aimed at fostering discipline, leadership, and camaraderie among the youth.
The valedictory event featured a vibrant cultural programme, where cadets showcased the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh through traditional dances, music, and performances. The event concluded with the distribution of medals and trophies to cadets who excelled in various competitions conducted during the camp, including drills, athletics, cultural events, and debates.
The successful conduct of the camp reflects the continued commitment of the NCC towards youth development and nation-building. The enthusiastic participation and discipline demonstrated by the cadets were widely appreciated by the attending dignitaries.
