Vicky Kaushal’s Film ‘Chhava’ Breaks Records

New Delhi: The film ‘Chhava’ hit the screens on February 14 and has dominated the box office since its release. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, the film has received an overwhelming response from the audience. Even the morning shows were houseful. Vicky also shared a post expressing gratitude for the love he received from fans. The earnings for the first two days of the film have now been revealed.

Maddock Films shared an official post revealing that ‘Chhava’ earned ₹33.1 crore on its opening day. The film received a tremendous response on Valentine’s Day. This year, many people were seen celebrating ‘Chhava Day’ instead of Valentine’s Day by heading to cinemas. With this, ‘Chhava’ has become the highest-grossing film released on February 14. Previously, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gully Boy’ had earned ₹19.40 crore on Valentine’s Day, but ‘Chhava’ has now broken this record.

Film critics had already predicted that the film would perform even better on Saturday. According to Sacknilk’s report, ‘Chhava’ collected ₹36.5 crore on Saturday, bringing its total earnings to ₹69 crore. With this momentum, ‘Chhava’ is set to enter the ₹100 crore club soon. This has become Vicky Kaushal’s biggest opening film to date.
