53rd Annual Day Celebrated at College of Vocational Studies
New Delhi : The College of Vocational Studies celebrated its 53rd Annual Day with great enthusiasm, pride, and a spirit of unity on April 23, 2025. The event witnessed the presence of several esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi, Honourable Member of Parliament, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Also present on the occasion were Prof. Anu Mehra, Treasurer of the Governing Body; Prof. N.K. Kakkar, Member of the Governing Body; distinguished alumnus Mr. Pankaj Dahiya; and the college’s Principal, Prof. Shiv Kumar Sahdev.
The program commenced with a two-minute silence in memory of Pope Francis and the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, demonstrating the institution’s deep commitment to national and global solidarity.
Principal Prof. Shiv Kumar Sahdev presented the Annual Report, highlighting the outstanding achievements of students in the academic year 2024–25, across both academic and co-curricular domains.
Following this, Prof. Anu Mehra and Mr. Pankaj Dahiya addressed the gathering, offering insightful reflections and motivational guidance to the students, drawing from their personal experiences and professional journeys.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi captivated the audience with a powerful and inspiring speech. He emphasized India’s rising stature on the global platform, particularly in the sphere of digital empowerment. Urging students to move beyond material pursuits, he called on the youth to contribute to national development with a focus on inner strength, ethical leadership, and cultural values.
The celebrations concluded with a prestigious award ceremony, where students were felicitated for their excellence in academics and extracurricular achievements, bringing the day’s proceedings to a dignified and joyful close.
