Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday met people individually during the ‘Janata Darshan’ programme, listened to their grievances, accepted their petitions, and assured them of appropriate action. The Chief Minister also took a strict stance on complaints regarding delays in revenue and police-related matters. He interacted warmly with children who had accompanied their parents, distributed chocolates, and encouraged them to focus on their studies.

“Win Medals, and We Will Give You Priority in Government Jobs”

Several athletes also attended the Janata Darshan to meet the Chief Minister. After listening to their concerns, CM Yogi enquired about their training and achievements. Encouraging them to work harder, he said, “The Uttar Pradesh Government is continuously recruiting outstanding sportspersons through direct appointments. Many athletes have already been appointed as Deputy Superintendents of Police, Tehsildars, and to other key government positions. If you bring medals for the country at the international level, the government will reward you with prize money as well as priority in government employment. But success comes only through hard work and dedication.”

He also extended his best wishes to the athletes, urging them to excel in sports and bring glory to the state and the nation.

Resolve Family Disputes at Home, Avoid Outside Interference

The Chief Minister also heard complaints related to family disputes. After understanding the issues in detail, he counselled the complainants and advised them to resolve such matters through dialogue within the family. He said prolonged family conflicts adversely affect children and stressed that elders should sit together to settle disputes. He also advised people not to involve outsiders in personal family matters.

Strict Action Against Delays in Revenue and Police Cases

CM Yogi also reviewed complaints related to revenue and police departments. He asked complainants when they had first reported their grievances and expressed displeasure over undue delays in resolving cases. He warned that negligence and unnecessary delays would not be tolerated and said officials and employees failing to dispose of cases within the stipulated time would face action.

“Which Class Do You Study In?” CM Asks Children

Several parents attended the Janata Darshan with their children. The Chief Minister interacted with the youngsters, asked their names and school classes, gave them chocolates, and encouraged them to study sincerely. He blessed the children and advised them to work hard to achieve success and make their families and the country proud.
