PM Modi to Interact with Students Across the Country in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ on February 10

 

New Delhi: On February 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will engage with students, parents, and teachers across the country at 11 AM for the eighth edition of “Pariksha Pe Charcha” (PPC), where he will share insights on exam preparation, stress management, and personal development. This year, the event will be held in a new format, with major personalities from the worlds of sports, film, and spirituality also guiding students. Some of the notable figures joining the discussion include MC Mary Kom, Avani Lekhara, Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, Bhumi Pednekar, and Sadhguru.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Education on Thursday, it was announced that 36 students from each state and Union Territory have been selected to participate in this year’s event. These students are from various boards, including state and UT boards, government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, CBSE, and Navodaya Vidyalayas. Some of these students are also alumni of programs like the Prerna School, Art Festival, and Veer Gatha winners, and they have been chosen to connect directly with the Prime Minister.

Celebrities from Sports, Film, and Spirituality to Guide Students

For PPC-2025, a new dimension has been added, with the eight episodes of the program being broadcast on multiple platforms, including Doordarshan, SWAYAM, SWAYAM Prabha, the PMO YouTube channel, and the social media channels of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Well-known personalities from various fields will participate in these episodes, guiding students on major life and learning aspects while sharing their experiences and knowledge. Students for these sessions were selected through a process that included states, UTs, various educational organizations, and national-level school competitions.

The episodes of PPC-2025 will focus on the following themes:

Sports and Discipline: MC Mary Kom, Avani Lekhara, and Suhas Yatiraj will discuss goal-setting, resilience, and stress management through discipline.

Mental Health: Deepika Padukone will talk about the importance of emotional well-being and self-expression.

Nutrition: Sonali Sabharwal and Rujuta Diwekar will emphasize healthy eating habits and the role of quality sleep in academic success. Revant Himatsingka, known as the “food farmer,” will provide insights on leading a healthy lifestyle.

Technology and Finance: Gaurav Chaudhary (Tech Guruji) and Radhika Gupta will explore technology as a tool for better learning and financial literacy.

Creativity and Positivity: Vikrant Massey and Bhumi Pednekar will inspire students to let go of negative thoughts and foster a positive mindset.

Mindfulness and Mental Peace: Sadhguru will share practical mindfulness techniques to help students maintain mental clarity and focus.

Success Stories: Toppers of various exams like UPSC, IIT-JEE, CLAT, CBSE, NDA, ICSE, etc., along with participants from previous PPC editions, will share how the event has influenced their preparation strategies and motivated them.

Since its inception in 2018, “Pariksha Pe Charcha” has evolved into a nationwide movement. This year’s edition has already broken previous records, with more than 50 million participants, making it the most engaging and influential edition to date.
