Tejashwi Yadav Launches Scathing Attack on Nitish Government: Says “Time to Uproot Bihar’s Ramshackle Government”

Patna (Bihar): As the Bihar Assembly elections draw closer, political temperatures in the state are rising sharply. Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, launched a fierce attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his government during a recent press conference, declaring, “The people of Bihar are fed up with this 20-year-old ramshackle government and want a change.”

Targeting the Chief Minister directly, Tejashwi said, “The CM is in a state of inertia. He neither cares about the state nor its people. In the past two decades, there has been no industrial development, no real progress. The government has reduced Bihar to the poorest state in the country.”

“What We Did in 17 Months Is Just 2% of Our Vision”
Reflecting on the previous RJD-led alliance government’s tenure, Tejashwi claimed, “In just 17 months, we initiated several key reforms—caste-based census, job opportunities for the youth, and public sector recruitment. But that was only 2% of what we aim to achieve. There’s a long road ahead.”

He emphasized that his party has a clear policy and sincere intent to bring real change, driven by a modern, inclusive vision for Bihar.

Volunteer Portal Launched for “Naya Bihar” Campaign
During the press conference, Tejashwi also launched a new digital volunteer portal, allowing citizens across the state to join the RJD’s movement to build a “New Bihar.” He said, “Our volunteers will be the true carriers of this campaign. We aim to reach every household with our vision for change.”

Allegations of Deep-Rooted Corruption in Nitish Administration
Tejashwi leveled serious allegations of corruption against the Nitish-led administration, stating, “DK Bose is running a transfer-posting racket in the state, and serious accusations have been made against IAS officer Thakur, yet the government remains silent.”

He added that honest officers are being pushed aside, while corrupt officials are being protected, exposing the administration’s questionable intentions.

Tejashwi also revealed that he had written multiple letters to the Chief Minister, but none had reached him, indicating a deliberate effort to suppress concerns and avoid accountability.

Clarifies on Controversy Around Dr. Ambedkar
On the issue surrounding alleged disrespect to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Tejashwi clarified, “Lalu Ji never disrespected Baba Saheb. If anyone needs to apologize, it is Amit Shah, who has never apologized for any of his actions.”

Tejashwi’s sharp rhetoric and aggressive posture indicate that the RJD is gearing up for a high-voltage political battle in the coming months, with a clear focus on replacing what he calls a “non-performing” government with a forward-looking, people-centric administration.
