ABVP’s Maithili Mrinalini Elected President in Patna University Student Union Elections

Patna (Bihar): In the Patna University Student Union elections, Maithili Mrinalini of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has been elected as the president. She defeated Manoranajan from the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).

Dheeraj Kumar, an independent candidate, won the vice president post.

The positions of joint secretary and treasurer went to NSUI. Rohan Kumar was elected as the joint secretary, while Saumya Srivastava secured the treasurer post. Independent candidate Saloni Raj won the general secretary position.

University officials awarded certificates to all the winners and congratulated them, urging students to contribute to university development.

First Female President in 107 Years
The elections witnessed strong female representation, with women securing three out of five central panel positions. Maithili Mrinalini’s victory marks a historic moment, as she becomes the first female president in Patna University’s 107-year history.
