Aryan and Ankit shine in PGDAV’s big victory

New Delhi: A brilliant century by Aryan Sharma (131) and an impressive all-round performance by Ankit Kumar (55 runs and 5 wickets) helped PGDAV College (Morning) defeat Zakir Husain Delhi College by 93 runs.

In the 3rd Swami Dayanand Saraswati T20 Day-Night Inter-College Cricket Tournament, PGDAV College (Morning) batted first and scored 272 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Zakir Husain Delhi College was bowled out for 179 runs in 16.1 overs. For their side, Lokesh Beniwal played an excellent innings of 105 runs. Ankit Kumar was awarded the Man of the Match.

In another league match, PGDAV Blue defeated PGDAV (Evening) by 91 runs. PGDAV Blue scored 240 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Rahul Bag scored 92 runs, while Lakshay Bansal added 78 runs. Prabal Sachdeva took 4 wickets for 57 runs.

In reply, PGDAV (Evening) could manage only 149 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Lakshya Sharma scored 28 runs and Vinay Dubey made 25 runs. Bryan Jha took three wickets, while Daksh claimed two.
