Civic Security is the Government’s Top Priority: Dr. Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired a high-level meeting on Friday at Samatva Bhavan (CM’s residence) to review the state’s security arrangements. During the meeting, he emphasized that ensuring the safety and security of all citizens is the government’s utmost priority.

The Chief Minister stated that national security is our foremost duty, and in view of the current circumstances, citizen protection must be treated as the topmost responsibility. He directed senior officials to pay special attention to essential civic services, strengthen departmental arrangements, and implement all necessary security precautions with immediate effect.

Dr. Yadav also stressed the need for strict action against anti-national activities and propaganda, urging that citizens be made aware and encouraged not to fall for rumors. He further instructed that comprehensive security be ensured for all key establishments of both central and state governments.

The Chief Minister called for strengthening health services, fire services, and other disaster management mechanisms. He conducted a detailed review of the state’s security arrangements, civic amenities, and inter-departmental coordination, instructing officials to enhance mutual cooperation.

Dr. Yadav clearly directed that all departments must remain alert and fully prepared to respond to any emergency situation. He also said that until normalcy returns, officials and field personnel responsible for civic services should not go on leave.

The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Mr. J.N. Kansotiya, Additional Chief Secretary (CM Office and Water Resources Department) Dr. Rajesh Rajora, Director General of Police Mr. Kailash Makwana, DG Home Guards Mr. Arvind Kumar, ADG Intelligence Mr. A. Sai Manohar, along with senior military and administrative officials from various departments.
