Fabelle Unveils ‘Navrasa Collection’, Bringing Together the Art of Chocolate and Music
Mumbai: Luxury chocolate brand Fabelle, in collaboration with ITC Sangeet Research Academy (SRA), has unveiled its ‘Navrasa Collection’, an innovative fusion of Indian classical music and handcrafted chocolates. The collection celebrates the nine emotions, or rasas, described in Indian tradition through nine specially crafted pralines.
Fabelle’s master chocolatiers have transformed Shringara, Hasya, Karuna, Raudra, Veera, Bhayanaka, Bibhatsa, Adbhuta and Shanta into chocolates through distinctive flavours, textures and shapes. At the same time, artists from ITC Sangeet Research Academy have created nine original musical compositions inspired by the same emotions. Customers can scan the QR code included with the collection to listen to these compositions.
Subhash Balar, Vice President and Business Head, Foods Division, ITC Limited, said that through the Navrasa Collection, Fabelle has sought to express emotions through the taste, texture and form of chocolate. Sharadindu Dutta said the collaboration presents the same emotions through two different sensory experiences—Indian classical music and chocolate.
Priced at ₹2,395, the Fabelle Navrasa Collection will be available at select Fabelle boutiques and through online channels.
According to the company, Shringara Rasa has been represented through a heart-shaped ruby chocolate combined with Aqua Rose, while Raudra Rasa features a third-eye-inspired shape with dark chocolate, ancho chilli and candied mango. Veera Rasa incorporates 70% dark chocolate and macadamia, while Shanta Rasa is presented in a white-rose-inspired shape with acacia honey and milk chocolate mousse.
The collection aims to offer consumers a distinctive sensory experience by bringing together the rich traditions of Indian aesthetics, classical music and fine chocolate craftsmanship.
