Hindutva Organizations Protest in Lucknow Against Murshidabad Violence, Demand President’s Rule in West Bengal

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) :  In response to the recent violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal, members and office-bearers of various Hindutva organizations including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Hindu Suraksha Seva Sangh, and Hindu Mahasabha held a protest in Lucknow on Monday. Demonstrators raised slogans against the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government and burned an effigy symbolizing the Chief Minister.

A large number of protestors gathered at GPO Park in Hazratganj, expressing outrage over the situation in Murshidabad. Chanting slogans against the West Bengal government, VHP workers staged a symbolic effigy burning as a mark of protest.

Addressing the gathering, speakers described the situation in Murshidabad as grave and demanded the immediate imposition of President’s Rule in West Bengal. VHP representatives questioned how long Hindus would remain silent and be forced to migrate. They argued that when such conditions of exodus are arising within one’s own country, imposing President’s Rule becomes the only viable solution.
