Kejriwal Energizes Volunteers, Shares Strategy to Spread Free Schemes Door-to-Door

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal is actively engaging directly with volunteers from all party wings. On Tuesday, he connected with members of the women’s wing via a video call, sharing strategies to promote the party’s welfare schemes—dubbed “freebies”—and gathering insights from the ground level.

More than 500 women volunteers, including the women’s wing president Sarika Chaudhary, participated in the video call. They briefed Kejriwal about their door-to-door campaigns and small meetings where they discuss six welfare schemes with the public.

During the interaction, Kejriwal encouraged the volunteers to hold as many meetings as possible, forming multiple teams to connect with people in their local areas. He advised them to explain the benefits of these schemes in detail and highlight the potential losses if they were discontinued, ensuring that citizens can make informed decisions.

Several volunteers shared their experiences and ground-level realities with Kejriwal, who also sought their feedback and suggestions.

Kejriwal emphasized the importance of volunteers, calling them the backbone of the party. “It is because of your hard work that the party has reached this level today,” he said.
