On Veer Bal Diwas, Chief Minister Pays Tribute to Guru Gobind Singh’s Children

Guwahati: On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid tribute to the brave children of Guru Gobind Singh and their mother. Through social media, the Chief Minister said that today he respectfully pays homage to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, his younger Sahibzadas, and Mata Gujri Ji for their sacrifices. The Chief Minister said that their indomitable courage and sacrifice set an immortal example of defending religion and the motherland. The decision by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to observe this day as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ makes the sacrifice of the Sahibzadas unforgettable. He added that this day inspires us with courage, sacrifice, and devotion to religion, which is the true symbol of Indianness.
