Pleasant Weather on Holi: Light Rain in Several Areas of Delhi
New Delhi: The festival of Holi was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the capital, Delhi. While the morning witnessed bright sunshine, clouds began to gather as the day progressed, and by evening, light rain in several areas added to the festive spirit.
Around 5:35 PM on Friday, light rain was recorded in Rajouri Garden, Vasant Vihar, Safdarjung, Karol Bagh, and several other parts of the city, bringing relief to people enjoying the Holi celebrations.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had already predicted light drizzles in Delhi. According to the department, the maximum temperature on Friday was expected to range between 32 to 34 degrees Celsius, with winds blowing at a speed of approximately 12 kilometers per hour.
The light rain brought a slight chill to the air, making the Holi festivities even more enjoyable.
