Rajasthan Tourism Launches Nationwide Branding Drive to Showcase ‘Padharo Mhare Des’
State to Highlight Its Tourism Potential at Major Travel Marts in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad
Jaipur: The Rajasthan Tourism Department has launched a nationwide promotional campaign to strengthen the state’s tourism brand and position Rajasthan as one of India’s most attractive travel destinations. As part of the initiative, the department will showcase the state’s rich cultural heritage, historic monuments, and emerging tourism products at leading travel marts and tourism events across the country during July.
Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riyad said the campaign aims to give Rajasthan’s tourism sector a new identity and wider national visibility through participation in premier tourism platforms.
She said that travel marts are much more than exhibitions—they serve as gateways to new business opportunities for the tourism industry. These events bring together tour operators, travel agencies, hotel chains, airlines, and investors, creating opportunities for strategic partnerships and innovative tourism promotion.
The Rajasthan Tourism Department will participate in the India International Travel Mart (Chennai), ABP Tourist Spot (Kolkata), India International Travel Mart (Bengaluru), and the PHDCCI International Heritage Tourism Conclave (Hyderabad). At these events, the state will present its iconic forts, palaces, religious destinations, wildlife, rural tourism, homestays, wellness tourism, adventure tourism, and film tourism opportunities to a national audience.
Riyad said that, in line with the vision of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, Rajasthan is expanding its tourism identity beyond heritage tourism by promoting new tourism circuits, local culture, handicrafts, and authentic rural experiences. The department’s objective is to attract more domestic tourists while strengthening the local economy and creating greater employment opportunities through tourism.
She added that the Rajasthan Pavilion at each event will feature modern digital presentations, attractive promotional material, and dedicated business-to-business (B2B) meetings. Tourism industry stakeholders will also be introduced to the state’s latest tourism policies and investment opportunities.
The Commissioner informed that the department’s participation in the Travel and Tourism Fair held in Kolkata from July 10 to 12 was highly successful. Building on that momentum, Rajasthan Tourism will now participate in upcoming events in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata (ABP Tourist Spot), and Hyderabad, further accelerating the state’s tourism branding campaign and promoting the iconic message of “Padharo Mhare Des” across India.
