New Delhi: Senior Supreme Court advocate T.S. Varun has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Dushyant Kumar Gautam on his appointment as the new Governor of Sikkim by President Droupadi Murmu.

In his congratulatory message, Varun said Gautam’s extensive organisational experience, dedication to public life and administrative acumen would contribute significantly to the development and public welfare of Sikkim. He expressed confidence that under Gautam’s guidance, the state would continue to progress along the path of peace and development.

Varun further stated that Gautam’s long-standing experience in organisational responsibilities would benefit the people of Sikkim. Gautam has served as the BJP’s National General Secretary and National President of the party’s Scheduled Caste Morcha. He has also served as a Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana and as the BJP’s state in-charge in Uttarakhand, where he demonstrated his organisational capabilities.

Gautam will succeed Om Prakash Mathur as the Governor of Sikkim. Along with Varun, several other prominent citizens, senior advocates and political leaders have also welcomed Gautam’s appointment, describing it as a positive step towards the state’s future development.
