Wave City Celebrates India’s 80th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour

Ghaziabad: Residents of Wave City, North India’s first operational high-tech city, celebrated the country’s 80th Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony marked by enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Residents, employees and guests of Wave City participated in the ceremony with great enthusiasm, reflecting a strong sense of national pride and community spirit.

The event also featured a series of cultural programmes, followed by the distribution of sweets and a special felicitation ceremony. As a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedicated service, Wave City’s security personnel were presented with gifts, Tricolour flags and mementoes.

The celebrations concluded in a warm and joyous atmosphere, showcasing the unity, community spirit and collective pride of Wave City residents.

Speaking on the occasion, Wave City COO C.J. Singh said, “We are proud to celebrate Independence Day at Wave City. This is a day that reminds us of the unwavering dedication and great sacrifices that paved the way for the freedom we enjoy today. The Tricolour holds a place of immense pride in our hearts. We salute the freedom fighters of our nation and reaffirm our commitment to our shared values, unity and the vision of a stronger and more inclusive India.”

He further said that Wave City was proud to support the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, which celebrates India’s unity, strength and indomitable spirit.

The Independence Day celebrations at Wave City thus became a meaningful occasion to honour the nation’s freedom struggle while strengthening the bonds of unity and community among its residents.
