Jaideep Ahlawat Reunites with Ajay Devgn After Years, Says, “The Real Distance Lies There”
Mumbai : The ‘Drishyam’ franchise is all set to return with its final chapter, ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’. Ajay Devgn will once again reprise his iconic role as Vijay Salgaonkar, while Jaideep Ahlawat plays crime branch officer Rajveer Singh Tomar. The clash between Vijay’s carefully crafted story and Rajveer’s relentless pursuit of the truth is expected to be one of the film’s key highlights.
The film holds special significance for Jaideep as it marks his reunion with Ajay Devgn after several years. The two previously worked together in ‘Aakrosh’. Looking back at their journey, Jaideep said that returning to work with Ajay feels like completing a full circle in his career. He said, “I don’t look at it simply as the number of years that have passed. I think about the person I was during ‘Aakrosh’ and the person I am today. The real distance lies there.”
Jaideep also praised Ajay’s restrained approach to acting and his trust in the scene and the character. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ is scheduled to release in cinemas on October 2, 2026.
