Temperature to Rise Again in Rajasthan from March 7 After Cold Spell

Jaipur (Rajasthan) : Rajasthan is expected to experience another spell of cold weather due to the impact of cold winds blowing from northern India, affecting several parts of the state along with Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab.

According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, the minimum temperature in the districts of Bikaner and Jaipur divisions may drop by 2-4 degrees Celsius. However, from March 7-8, temperatures will start rising again, and daytime heat will intensify. In the past 24 hours, the weather remained clear across the state. The maximum daytime temperature in Ganganagar, Alwar, and Mount Abu remained below 30 degrees Celsius, while Chittorgarh recorded the highest temperature at 34.6 degrees Celsius. Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 34.6 degrees, and Dungarpur recorded 34.3 degrees Celsius. Cities like Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Udaipur, and Bikaner saw a 2-3 degree increase in daytime temperatures. Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, humidity levels across most parts of the state ranged between 19% and 59%. Due to the impact of a weak western disturbance, light rain with thunder was observed in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, and nearby areas on March 3. However, for the next week, most parts of the state are expected to remain dry. No significant temperature changes are expected in the next 48 hours. However, from March 4, under the influence of northern winds, both minimum and maximum temperatures may drop by 2-4 degrees Celsius. On March 4-5, the minimum temperature in Bikaner division and the Shekhawati region is expected to range between 8-10 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may be around 22-24 degrees Celsius. From March 7, temperatures will start rising again, with minimum and maximum temperatures expected to be 1-2 degrees above normal in the following week.
