Feeling like you don’t belong is the worst, and I have experienced that: Bhagyashree Limaye
New Delhi: Amazon miniTV, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently released their teenage school drama, Sisterhood. The series unfolds in an All-Girls Convent School, S.I.S.T.R.S., encompassing the lives of four students Zoya, Nikita, Ann, and Gargee as they navigate their spirit of adolescence, companionship, struggles, betrayal, and personal growth. Featuring Anvesha Vij, Nitya Mathur, Nidhi Bhanushali, and Bhagyashree Limaye in pivotal roles, Sisterhood portrays a sincere and authentic school life that evokes memories and appeals to viewers.
Bhagyashree Limaye, who plays the role of Ann in the series, recalled her school days and shared how she connected with her on-screen character, saying, “There were times when I did not have friends, I am a very shy person. I didn’t even know where to sit and who to sit with when I used to enter the class because there was no group that I belonged to. Feeling like you don’t belong is the worst, and I have experienced that, which is why I could relate to my character.”
She also mentioned which character she would have chosen to play in Sisterhood, if not Ann, sharing, “If I had a chance to swap characters, I would choose Nikita’s because I always found that character very fascinating. Everyone on the sets knew the character is one of my favorites, she is a total badass, more like a Chhota Bomb, Bada Dhamaka.”
Sisterhood is now streaming exclusively on Amazon miniTV for free within Amazon’s shopping app, on Prime Video, Fire TV, Smart TVs, or download the app from Play Store.
