BJP-Led Alliance Leads in Maharashtra Assembly Election Trends, Claims Hat-Trick Victory
New Delhi: In the ongoing counting trends for the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP-led NDA is leading in over 200 seats, while the INDIA alliance trails with leads in just 63 seats. With these trends, the BJP has confidently claimed that the “Mahayuti” is on its way to achieving a hat-trick victory in Maharashtra.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended his congratulations to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Ajit Pawar and Devendra Fadnavis, following the alliance’s strong performance in the trends.
BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi remarked, “The Mahayuti is making a remarkable comeback in Maharashtra. This victory is primarily rooted in the development work carried out by the government and the public’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Together, they have created a strong wave of confidence in favor of the BJP alliance. As for Jharkhand, the trends there do not align with our expectations, and we will comment further once the final results are out. If the trends translate into results, I would like to ask the opposition whether the EVMs are functioning properly or not?”
BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia expressed similar optimism, stating, “The BJP-NDA-Mahayuti is set to achieve a hat-trick victory. We are winning not only in Maharashtra but also in Jharkhand. Additionally, we are performing well in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by-elections.”
