Karan and Lakshya shine in Swami Dayanand Saraswati T20 Day-Night Tournament

New Delhi: karan and Lakshya shine in the third Swami Dayanand Saraswati Inter-College T20 Day-Night Cricket Tournament as PGDAV Yellow and PGDAV Blue teams registered easy victories in their League matches.

With brilliant batting performances by Karan Soni (71 off 31 balls, 4 fours, 8 sixes) and Naitik Yadav (67 off 26 balls, 7 fours, 6 sixes) along with excellent bowling by Himanshu (4 wickets for 32 runs), Sharang Asthana (2 wickets for 10 runs) and Jai Sharma (2 wickets for 23 runs) helped PGDAV Yellow (142/0 in 9 overs) beat Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (139/9 in 20 overs) by 10 wickets in a one-sided match. For the losing team, Varun Bhatt scored 33 runs and Shaurya Bhatia 32 runs. Karan Soni was awarded the Man of the Match by Mr. Praveen Tyagi, General Secretary of Asia Kurash Wrestling.

In another match, outstanding performances by Lakshya Goyal (136 off 47 balls, 6 fours, 17 sixes, and 2 wickets for 44 runs), Mandeep Singh (80 off 27 balls, 3 fours, 10 sixes), and Rahul Bagh (42 off 13 balls, 5 fours, 3 sixes) helped PGDAV Blue (329/9 in 20 overs) defeat Aryanatta College (176/8 in 20 overs) by 153 runs. For Aryabhatta College, Piyush Chandilla fought well with 51 runs and 5 wickets for 56 runs. Lakshya Goyal was named Man of the Match.
