Pankaj Joshi Appointed as Gujarat’s New Chief Secretary

Ahmedabad (Gujrat) : The Gujarat government has appointed Pankaj Joshi as the new Chief Secretary of the state. The General Administration Department has issued a notification in this regard. Pankaj Joshi will assume office on January 31, coinciding with the retirement of the current Chief Secretary, Rajkumar.

A 1989 batch IAS officer, Pankaj Joshi is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister. Throughout his extensive administrative career, he has held several key positions, including Municipal Commissioner, Secretary, and Principal Secretary.

Originally from Nainital, Uttarakhand, Joshi holds advanced academic qualifications, including a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, an M.Tech in Water Resources, and an M.Phil in Defense and Strategic Studies. His expertise and experience have led the government to entrust him with this significant responsibility.

With Joshi taking charge as the Chief Secretary, the state administration is expected to benefit greatly from his leadership and vast experience.
