Paytm Launches ‘Hide Payment’ Feature, Enhancing Privacy for Users

New Delhi :  Paytm (One97 Communications Limited), one of India’s leading digital payment and financial services companies, has introduced a new privacy feature called ‘Hide Payment’ for its users. This feature allows users to hide or unhide selected transactions from their payment history, giving them greater control over their financial privacy.

Why Was This Feature Introduced?

The ‘Hide Payment’ feature is based on user feedback. Many times, people make transactions they prefer to keep private—such as surprise gifts, late-night food orders, pharmacy purchases, or personal expenses. With this new option, users can quietly hide such transactions with a simple swipe, protecting their privacy while keeping their history clean and organized.

How to Hide or Unhide a Transaction?

• To Hide:

  1. Open the Paytm app and go to the “Balance & History” section.

  2. Swipe left on the transaction you want to hide.

  3. Tap on the “Hide” option and confirm.

• To Unhide:

  1. Go to “Balance & History” and tap the three dots near ‘Payment History.’

  2. Select “View Hidden Payments.”

  3. Verify using your mobile PIN, fingerprint, or Face ID.

  4. Swipe left on the hidden transaction and tap “Unhide.”
