Rajasthan Tourism Draws Global Confidence: GITB Welcomes Participation from All Seven Continents

Jaipur :  Rajasthan is set to reaffirm its position on the global tourism map as it hosts the 15th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) from April 26 to 28 in Jaipur. Highlighting the state’s growing global appeal, Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism, Art & Culture Minister Diya Kumari said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan has emerged as a leading destination in world tourism.

She noted that amid global uncertainties, evolving travel patterns, and the rising demand for experience-based tourism, Rajasthan continues to strengthen its international presence. The participation of tour operators and stakeholders from 50 countries across all seven continents underscores the state’s growing reputation as a trusted, diverse, and experience-rich destination.

The event is being jointly organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Department, the Ministry of Tourism, and the FICCI.

According to Tourism Department Secretary Ravi Jain, the inaugural session will be held on the evening of April 26 at Jai Mahal Palace, while B2B sessions are scheduled for April 27–28 at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre.

Over 10,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings will take place during the two-day business sessions, enabling direct interaction between international buyers and Indian exhibitors, including heritage and luxury hotel operators, destination management companies, and stakeholders from wellness, wildlife, adventure, and MICE sectors. The objective is to build long-term business partnerships rather than mere promotion.

Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar stated that GITB, now in its 15th year, has become a symbol of Rajasthan’s credibility in global tourism. She emphasized that the strong international participation reflects the perception of Rajasthan as a safe, stable, and attractive destination.

The event will see participation from 13 Asian countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, UAE, and Thailand; 19 European nations such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom; and countries from North America, South America, Africa, and Oceania, highlighting its truly global scale.

Rajasthan’s tourism appeal has evolved beyond its iconic forts and palaces to include spiritual destinations, monsoon landscapes, living culture, and immersive experiences, making it a comprehensive global destination.

Post-event, curated familiarization (FAM) tours are planned for international delegates to destinations such as Jaipur, Sariska, Sawai Madhopur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, and Deogarh, allowing them to experience Rajasthan firsthand beyond presentations.
