Amit Shah Reportedly to Remain in Delhi
According to media reports, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will remain in Delhi to monitor the situation. It has also been reported that he has cancelled his scheduled visits outside the capital. However, these claims require separate official confirmation.
Protest Demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s Resignation
The CJP and various organisations have called for a protest on October 10 against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The key demand is his resignation, along with greater accountability on issues related to the electoral process.
Delhi has witnessed protests over related issues in the past. With the latest demonstration approaching, the administration is preparing to maintain law and order while balancing public safety with the right to peaceful protest.
Authorities are expected to remain alert before and during the demonstration to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure that public order is maintained.
