Sonia Gandhi Visits Mandir Marg Police Station, Meets Priyanka Gandhi and Congress Leaders

New Delhi: Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi visited the Mandir Marg Police Station in New Delhi on Monday, where she met Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and several other Congress leaders who had been detained by the Delhi Police.

According to reports, the Congress leaders were taken into custody during a protest and were being held at the police station. Following their detention, Sonia Gandhi personally visited the station to meet them and inquire about their well-being.

The Congress party has criticized the police action, alleging that the detention was unwarranted. However, the Delhi Police maintained that the action was taken to ensure law and order during the protest.

The incident has intensified political activity in the national capital, with further exchanges between the ruling party and the opposition expected in the coming days.
