Rajasthan Tourism Wins Four National Awards in July

Jaipur : July 2026 has emerged as a landmark month for Rajasthan Tourism, with the state winning four prestigious national awards at leading travel marts and tourism events across the country. The honours have not only strengthened Rajasthan’s tourism brand but have also reinforced its position as one of India’s most trusted and rapidly emerging tourism destinations.
Sharing the information, Ajay Sharma, Joint Director (Marketing), Department of Tourism, Rajasthan, said that under the guidance of Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari and the leadership of Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar, the department made a strong presence at major tourism events held in Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad during July.
The department showcased Rajasthan’s rich heritage, culture, religious tourism, wildlife, rural tourism, wellness, adventure tourism, film tourism and investment opportunities. Rajasthan’s pavilion emerged as one of the key attractions at every event through immersive digital presentations, business-to-business (B2B) meetings and professionally designed promotional material.
Sharma said that Rajasthan Tourism received the Award for Excellence at the Travel and Tourism Fair, Kolkata, held from July 10 to 12. This was followed by the Best Luxury Destination Award at the India International Travel Mart (IITM), Chennai, held from July 16 to 18.
At the India International Travel Mart, Bengaluru, held from July 23 to 25, Rajasthan Tourism achieved another major milestone by winning two prestigious honours — Best Heritage Tourism Destination of the Year and Destination of the Year. Together, these four national awards have further enhanced Rajasthan’s credibility and strengthened its brand image in the Indian tourism industry.
Sharma said the department remains committed to further strengthening Rajasthan’s brand presence in domestic as well as international tourism markets, with the objective of attracting more visitors, encouraging tourism investment and creating greater employment opportunities across the state.
