Virendra Sachdeva Hits Back at Kejriwal’s Allegations, Says AAP is Committing Digital Fraud with Delhi Residents

New Delhi: BJP Delhi state president Virendra Sachdeva strongly countered allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him and his party of engaging in digital fraud with the people of Delhi and undermining democratic processes by settling illegal voters in the city.

Kejriwal’s Allegation
On Saturday, Arvind Kejriwal targeted the BJP, claiming that the party had used Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit to lodge a complaint with Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena. He alleged that BJP leaders were openly distributing money and conspiring to end AAP’s free schemes.

Sandeep Dikshit had earlier raised concerns about AAP’s ‘Mahila Samman’ scheme, accusing it of being fraudulent and misleading Delhi’s women.

Delhi Government’s Clarification
The Delhi government’s Women and Child Development and Health Departments recently issued a public notice clarifying that schemes promising ₹2,100 to women and free medical treatment for the elderly were not connected to the government. They warned residents against sharing personal information with any private entity or political party under such false pretenses, labeling it as fraudulent activity.

Virendra Sachdeva’s Counterattack
Virendra Sachdeva accused Kejriwal of manipulating the democratic system:

“Arvind Kejriwal and his party are settling fake voters in Delhi to win elections. There is no cabinet approval for the so-called Mahila Samman scheme. AAP is using deceitful and fraudulent methods to gather public data.”

He also questioned the fate of AAP’s promise to provide ₹1,000 to women in Punjab, calling it another unfulfilled commitment.

Allegations of Fake Voters
Sachdeva further claimed that the Kejriwal government had added 60 fake voters in Delhi without the knowledge of property owners.

“In 2015, 1.4 million votes increased; in 2019, 900,000 votes were added. This conspiracy is being hatched again, but BJP will not let it succeed.”

The BJP, he added, has raised the issue with the Election Commission and will continue to do so.

BJP’s Message
The BJP reiterated its commitment to combating illegal activities and any fraud against Delhi’s citizens. Sachdeva emphasized the party’s dedication to protecting democracy and ensuring justice for the residents of Delhi.
